How the Domains Work

Ministrypool allows you to use a domain for a period of time (e.g. for marketing a special event). When you’ve finished using the domain, it goes back into the domain pool for others to use. The cost of using a domain is $2 a month.

  1. Find a domain you like.
  2. Fill in the contact form expressing your interest in using a domain. We ask who you are, where you are, what you’d like to use the domain for and how long you think you will use it. We only ask for these details, so the domains in the pool aren’t abused and are used properly!
  3. We’ll get back to you with a ‘Yes’ / ‘No’ or with some more questions! Assuming it’s a ‘Yes’, you will then pay for the domain (using PayPal) and the nameservers will be changed or web-forwarding set-up as required.
  4. You can then use the domain on your site. When you’ve finished using the domain, the nameservers are changed back or the forwarding is cancelled and the domain goes back into the domain pool.

If you’ve used resources (mp3s, sermon notes, etc.) with the domain that could be of use to future users of the domain, we’d love to hold them so that others can make use of them.
